Timothy Michael was inspired, but never knew that when he picked up his paint brush 7 years ago it would lead to a fine art career that would carry him through many unexpected and successful collaborative opportunities. This has since led him to open a gallery with his wife, Donna McDonald in historic Roswell, as well as satellite galleries in Buckhead and Lake Oconee. He is also the featured artist at Gary Mennie’s award-winning Buckhead restaurant, Taurus.

Timothy Michael Gallery first opened its doors in May of 2004 in SOCA , a collection of high-end design showrooms in Roswell, the Shops on Oak Street. They have since moved to a larger space, still located in SOCA, with an archway that connect s the Gallery to La Bella Vie, a full scale high-end design studio with the finest home furnishings and highly creative interior designers.

La Bella Vie, which translates as "The Beautiful Life," is owned by designer Veronica (Vikki) Werbalowsky, former owner of the original Veronica's Attic Specialty Boutique. La Bella Vie grew out of Vikki's desire 4 ½ years ago to open a high-end design showroom in SOCA that allowed her to be closer to family. Vikki's passion and natural talent helps clients create environments that express themselves. Her approach to custom design from the traditional to the contemporary inspires people and translates beautifully in the end.

The results of their collaboration have been successful and they plan to continue building upon their relationship to offer clients new opportunities in the world of fine art and design. "We enjoy presenting the different possibilities in all mediums, and working together through a collaborative process," says Donna.

Together the space provides clients the opportunity to view fine art and design through functional and sculptural lighting of fellow SOCA store, Eclectic Electric . The Timothy Michael Gallery presents a strong collection of artists with a unique range of contemporary art. In addition to the work of Timothy Michael, the gallery houses the work of internationally acclaimed artists Zheng Li, ,Donna Cassaro-Hughes, Kathryn Fortson ,and renowned sculptor artist Mary-grace Perkins. Equally, La Bella Vie provides a wide range of up scale home furnishings and design for clients. “Together we feel like our partnership is a perfect fit, in that we just want people to find the things that will make their lives a little more inspiring and beautiful” says Donna, “for that is the beautiful life,” La Bella Vie!
