Though what I do for a living now has nothing to do with Biochemistry, I was a Biochemistry major in undergraduate college. One of the main classes I had to take outside the major was Physics. I hated that class. I did not want anything to do with Capacitors and circuits. Magnetism did not interest me one bit. I had all but forgotten about the horrors of physics class until the other day when my son, who is in college now, brought home his first round of physics homework. Like me, he is not studying physics but is being required to take the introductory course anyways. He was really struggling with some of the harder concepts. I tried to help him, but I was about as lost as he was. After twenty years, I understand it even less than I did back then. I have no plan on going back.
