I am about to graduate from college so I’ve been putting in job applications all over town to find a job. I just completed an internship so I have a few people I can contact that may be able to provide a few leads. To save money, I’m moving in with two friends. I am selling my car, television, and my computer to increase my savings. I’m also going to sell my mobile and buy a new one with fewer features as I don’t need to spend a lot each month for phone service, especially for the features I currently have. I just need a phone to call and text. I can upgrade once I get a permanent job. I want to make things as simple as possible right now while I build a new life. While I am excited about things to come, I am also nervous and scared about the future. Cutting back on expenses will help me in the long run, but giving up some things like my mobile phone seems like I’m going backwards.
